Mammalian vector with one constituve, one inducible promoter

Hi all,

Does anyone have or know of a Mammalian vector with one constituve promoter and a second inducible promoter?

Failing this could anyone recommend a mammalian inducible promoter that I could use to put a vector together myself?

Thanks

Nick

Hi Nick,

The best known and most commonly used inducible system is the Tet-On vectors, which you are most likely familiar with. I have however not heard about a vector as the one you describe.

Hi Nick,

I was wondering if you have thought about using an insect inducible system instead.

I have a modified version of the pMT-(BIP)-V5-His6 vector from Invitrogen where I added a Puromycin selection marker and a removable C-terminal HA/His10 tag.

Let me know if you are interested so I can send you more details.
