The Utrecht NMR group offers access and support for screening projects through solution and solid-state NMR on the following systems:

  • 600 MHz solution NMR system w/ 5mm 1H/19F triple resonance Prodigy cryoprobe equipped with Bruker SampleJet with cooling for up to 384 samples (either 5 or 3mm) in one automated run;
  • 900 MHz solution NMR system w/ 5mm 1H triple resonance TCI cryoprobe equipped with cooled sample carroussel for 24 samples in one automated run.
  • 19Fsolid-state NMR equipment at 800 MHz and 1.2 GHz to screen the binding of therapeutics to insoluble targets (such as cells, tissues, or liposomal preparations

User Guide

Local expertise based on previous screening projects include ligand-observed drug screening via STD and waterLOGSY and protein-observed CSP methods as well as development of tailored automated analysis workflows for hit identification. The 600 MHz system supports 19F-based screening. The 900 MHz systems is particularly suited for samples at low concentration due to the 3x higher sensitivity (9-fold time savings).

Fragment library can be arranged by the user or in consultation with local site. Samples can be prepared on site under guidance of staff.
