ALBA offers a complete fragment-based drug discovery pipeline which includes the full set of biochemistry and Molecular Biology tools, production and purification of proteins, biophysical techniques, immunochemistry and crystallization. Among other instruments, the platform features two LCP mosquito and DragonFly crystallization robots, a ligand library of over 1000 compounds, a Formulatrix crystal farm and a Crystal Shifter. The service is offered to the scientific community accessing the ALBA MX beamlines XAIRA and XALOC through Instruct, and requires the intervention onsite of the requesting group.
